Shocks and formalities

There are certaintly lots of shocks and formalities in the soccer world. Lets talk about the shock first. Maicon, being the world's best right-back, was destroyed by Gareth Bale. Somemore, it is Inter, the defending champions, who need a scrappy win to qualify as runner up of the group(probaly)... ... somemore, the gap established by Chelsea was destroyed as Manchester United went level on points. Now for the formalities. Still United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona who led the group stages of the European Champions League... ... made it so boring... ...(excluding Spurs' group)

D-day at the S-league

D-day at S-league occured at 10 November 2010, with Etoile, Tampines and Home having a chance to win the S-league title. Half-time scorelines showed that the title was going to the Tampines Stadium, but drama occured at that time. Etoile, losing 2-1 to Albirex Niigata, leaded 4-2 through a F. Mendy's brace and Verschave's goal, although Tampines crushed Balestier 4-1, it was Etoile's night, coupled with the boring goalless draw between Home and SAFFC. For once, S-league will have a memorable D-day for years to come!
